Do you enjoy working with and meeting people? Have a good eye for detail, good with paperwork and processes and can use a computer? Are you well organised and would enjoy the prospect of working within a busy team? Then this role may be for you!
Working with a team of passionate volunteers and staff within a busy retail store, you will play an important role in helping to process and maintain the stores administration requirements. This is a varied role, as no day is ever the same as the last, giving your the opportunity to develop a host of skills with the full support of the team. Working as a team you will make a valuable contribution by supporting Gift Aid procedures, processing other BHF daily administration requirements, maintaining POS stock.
To help you hit the ground running, it would be advantageous if you have had some administration experience and computer knowledge. Other than that, simply lots of enthusiasm and motivation and have time to spare on a regular basis.
In return, you will learn or develop great administration skills within a retail experience and work with like minded people who already work with or volunteer with the charity. Not to mention, you will have fun and get to meet new friends whilst gaining the satisfaction of making a valuable contribution to a national charity at a local level. Volunteers need to be enthusiastic and motivated.
