Volunteer Administration Support - The aim of the post is to assist with the day to day smooth running of the project. The role includes answering the phones, inputting data, contacting clients via post and telephone, and assisting the manager and staff. The organisation would be unable to function without the time and effort that is given by our many volunteers. Volunteers undertake a wide variety of roles within the project, and with any of our volunteering roles, there is no minimum or maximum time commitment, although we do ask to be informed if volunteers are unable to come along to an agreed session.
Any qualifications that may be relevant to the opportunity will be of benefit, however they are not essential, but good communication skills would be beneficial. Other skills can also be useful to the orgaisation, such as an interest in marketing, publicity or the use of social media.
