Home Farm Trust is a friendship agency for people with learning disabilities. We aim to recruit members who will be given support to make, develop and maintain friendships and relationships. Regular events and accessing leisure opportunities will be used to help people make relationships and appropriate support in communication, transport etc will be offered.
This is an opportunity to join a friendly team in the initial stages of developing this exciting project. We require a volunteer to support the project with administration. This could involve writing letters and applications for funding, following up telephone conversations, you will need to be I.T competent, experienced with using the internet, email and telephone.
Ability to work as part of a team. If you wish the role could develop and you have direct work with members phone calls and arranging potential members visits. Administering confidential files, application forms etc. Responsible for collection of payments for events and activities and liaising with HFT admin team to bank money received.
This role will give you experience in working as part of team, administration, respecting confidentiality, money management and developing your communication skills.
