An opportunity for anyone with interests in helping people and baking.  If you are a keen cook and enjoy baking you may find this an interesting role.  You will be helping in a friendly, home from home environment.  The small groups of people day clients enjoy baking and cooking and are encouraged to take part.
Sessions can include cakes and baking, preparing and cooking cakes, scones etc for afternoon tea or lunch.  This can include decorating cakes, icing, cup cakes and fairy cakes etc.
The sessions are designed to help people stay as independent as they can and provide entertainment and stimulation to help improve their health and well being. Friendly staff are on hand to help and involve clients.  The sessions can be fun and the organisation is open to suggestions.  You can do group work or work one-to-one with people. You need some knowledge and enthusiasm for cooking and baking and patience for teaching and showing people baking skills.  Will require a Criminal Record Check (DBS)

Knowledge and experience of cooking and baking.  This may be at an amateur or professional level.  Some teaching experience would be useful but not essential.  It is however essential that you have patience, enthusiasm and have excellent communication and people skills.
