About the opportunity
If you are interested in working in a small charity shop, sorting, selecting and selling merchandise, possibly arranging small displays, are reasonably outgoing, enjoy meeting new people/ working with the public, reasonably confident and flexible, then this could be ideal for you.
Sue Ryder generate income from sale of goods from Charity Shop to provide care that liberates lives of people suffering from cancer, stroke, dementia, Huntington,s disease.
Volunteers need to have an outgoing personality , flexible, enjoy meeting people and willing to learn new skills, handling small amounts of cash, interested in charitable/community events, possibly small amount of fund raising by taking part in twice yearly events held in the shop to raise extra money for organisation. Opportunity to do an NVQ in retail, team leading if interested.
