Chester Live is Chester's largest independent live music venue with this year's event taking place from 4-7th July 2019.
The four day event culminates with the Chester Live Street Festival. The 2018 street festival attracted nearly 6000 people to the event across the day.
We now require Event Staff to help support the events across the city over the festival weekend.
You will be the public's first point of call for event queries so you need to have fantastic customer service skills, be positive and enthusiastic in getting involved with all aspects of the festival.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a very exciting project across the city of Chester and to experience some of the best live music from around the area.
Volunteers will be required to cover all aspects of event set up and management including (but not exclusive to):
1) Live Events Team: Assisting during the festival with the smooth running of our live events across the city of Chester.
Duties include: Supporting the Show Managers and Festival Coordinator in making sure the events run as planned, support customers, and liaise with live acts.
2) Box Office Team: Assisting the Show Manager during the festival at the event box offices across the city.
Duties include: Managing cash sales, tickets, wristbands and guest lists.
3) Production Team: Supporting the production team to set up venues from the technical side of the festival.
Duties include: Working with the individual production teams, Show Managers and Festival Coordinator at various live venues to ensure the swift turn-around of equipment and PA equipment.
No particular experience or skills are necessary but volunteers with event management, event staff or live music experience would be welcomed to apply.
Excellent customer service skills, a 'can do attitude' and an enthusiasm for live music would be a key factor for any appointment to the festival team.
