A national network of 3000 community service volunteers has been established to provide practical help when any aspect of day to day care poses a problem- for example, walking the dog for a housebound owner. A national fostering service is provided for pets whose owners face a spell in hospital - volunteers take pets into their own homes & supply love & care until owner & pet can be reunited.

An animal lover, caring, responsible, reliable, patient and understanding. Able to foster pets in their own home.

Volunteers applying to Cinnamon Trust will be asked for 3 references and a passport photograph. For fostering volunteers must have the right resources and time to look after and accommodate fostered pets. There is a 24 hour support line. Fostering may vary in time and length of stay can vary depending on the circumstances, arrangements are made with prior agreement with all parties.
