Do you enjoy working as part of a team and like meeting people? Do you have regular time to spare & would enjoy visiting different locations within the area to help collect stock to fund a worthwhile charity? The charity greatly appreciates the invaluable support provided by volunteers and as an evolving organisation they always need new volunteers to grow their existing team, to ensure every opportunity to raise funds is secured, Claire House are looking for volunteer drivers and drivers mates to help collect and distribute donations from the public, retail outlets & local businesses.
A level of physical fitness is required for both roles and if you're interested in becoming a volunteer driver, then a full driving licence is essential. In addition, the ability to be able to travel to Clatterbridge would be necessary. Claire House would be grateful for 12 months volunteer commitment if possible and are appreciative of anytime that you can spare. In return, you will gain the satisfaction of playing an important and valuable role towards the success of a local charity within your community, whilst working with like minded people. The role will also help build on existing skills; it is a place where you make new friends while making a great difference to the lives of Claire House children, young people and their families. Training and guidance will be given that is applicable to the role. Travelling expenses will be reimbursed if requested and with prior agreement and full ongoing support will be provided from the Volunteer Manager.
