Catch22 aims to provide volunteer opportunities that meet the needs of both the service and the young people and families we work with and therefore volunteer opportunities are varied and interesting.
We are looking for volunteers to provide one to one support and encouragement to families who have received support from Catch 22's services in Cheshire. Our Family Mentors will support families either alongside our Family Practitioners/Key Workers or as part of an exit strategy to provide our families with additional support.

To attend an initial meeting with the family and the Family Practitioner to be introduced, discuss the plan going forward and define the focus of the relationship.
To meet the family for approximately 2-4 Hours a week in a one to one situation for a sustained period of time to be agreed with Volunteer Coordinator.
To deliver with a Solution Focussed Approach for which brief training will be provided.
To create a positive relationship with the family and provide them with a suitable role model.
To advise/assist/support and motivate the family into developing skills which will assist them in achieving and maintaining their goals.
To maintain regular contact with the allocated Family Practitioner and Volunteer Coordinator.
To provide written information on work undertaken by filling in contact sheets as required.
To attend training as required.
