Volunteers will be working alongside existing volunteers and staff members to deliver a wide range of sessions for young carers in a safe and fun environment. Sessions might include art, drama, trips, healthy living, sexual health, quizzes, workshops and camping. This is a great way for volunteers to enhance their skills and build up your experience and you can work towards being a session leader. Volunteers are responsible for the supervision and safety of young people attending the sessions.
Sessions take place at local venues in the evening or during school holidays. Volunteers must be 18. The organisation would not be able to function without the time and effort that is given by our many volunteers. Volunteers undertake a wide variety of roles within the project and there is no minimum or maximum time commitment, but it is important that volunteers are reliable.
DBS check will be required for this role.
