St Lukes is a small hospice with a big heart offering high levels of specialist care within a gently supportive environment. St Lukes believe in caring for patients personally, whilst offering families and carers the help they need to fulfil their roles, or to come to terms with their loss.
To support patient care and running the charity, St Lukes have a portflio of 3 stylish shops that offer something for everyone. So if you like to shop or love enjoying meeting people and have time to spare to you could volunteer in one of our retail shops.
The fabulous Furniture Shop sells high quality furntiure and home accessories. It is a lovely environment, where you will meet customers, help with sales and displays of furniture and home furnishings. Each shop is open form 10am to 4.30pm, Monday to Saturday. You don t need previous experience or any special skills. If you can spare a few hours on a regular basis every week, then St Lukes would love to hear from you.
St Lukes will give you support and training wherever necessary and you ll soon be making a difference to the lives of others, by contributing to the running of the hospice.
In return you ll have the satisfaction of helping; of being part of a caring team, learning new skills, gaining experience, participating in training sessions and putting something back into the community.
