Good Company is an activity group. People that attend the group come and have fun and are involved in a range of activities, examples of activities include: games, cookery, arts, drama, gardening, singing, cinema visits, bowling and meals out. As a result of attending the groups, children grow in confidence and increase their self esteem, they are able to reach their full potential and develop relationships with their peers.
Volunteers will support individuals aged 19+ within the group or on a 1:1 to take part in various activities decided on by those that attend the groups.
Volunteers should be:
- Willing to learn new skills and committed to the inclusion of disabled young people
No formal qualifications are required
Volunteers can expect a full induction, role specific training and regular supervisions
A DBS check may be required for this post
