About the opportunity

Do you have some time to spare helping to support the Charity's Central Warehousing operation in Winsford ?
Do you enjoy working with people and being part of a team? Then, The British Red Cross would greatly appreciate your time and support. As a Warehouse Volunteer you will help assist in the processing of stock destined for our charity shops. Tasks include:
- Helping to receive and check deliveries
- Sorting stock , de branding stock (taking out labels)
- Sizing/Ticketing Garments
- labelling bags for distribution
- Packing goods for distribution
You do not need any specific skills for this role. The British Red Cross will give you the training and support you need to do this role.
This role would be ideal for someone who is a team player, good communicator, enthusiastic and enjoys being busy and wants to get into a routine. In return you will work with like minded people, get to meet new people and contribute towards a national charity. This can sometimes be a busy noisy environment, but you'll never be bored. A taster session can be arranged to try out the role and see if it is for you.
